YesTax is a small but rapidly expanding firm that specialises in specialist tax incentives, such as R&D tax relief, patent box relief, video games tax relief and capital allowances. The company was established as a friendly, family first business with a social mission to support charitable projects that changes lives for vulnerable children. Since early 2019, we have raised over quarter of a million pounds for charities close to our hearts which includes the funding of a safe house for sexually abused children in Nepal as well as various foundations and charities across South Yorkshire. In October 2022, the company transitioned to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) and is now owned by its employees. The decision to become an EOT was driven by the desire to sustain the company’s unique culture and recognise that the business was built upon the hard work and commitment of its employees, allowing them to directly benefit from a shared ownership structure.
