Farewell, for now.
Today is Chris Norris’ last day at YesTax before he embarks upon a period of training with the RAF Reserves, prior to being deployed overseas in July. As a long serving and highly valued member of the YesTax team, it’s with mixed emotions that we must say a temporary goodbye to Chris.
Chris is a Senior R&D Tax Consultant at YesTax, who delivers an exceptionally high standard of advice and who has over the years built an incredibly loyal client base. He is an invaluable member of team and will be sorely missed by all of us. For the next 12 months, however, we wish him every success as we support him in his ambition to serve with the RAF Reserves.
As a member of the RAF Reserves, Chris, has been serving part-time alongside the wider force, undertaking ongoing training with the intention of putting his training into action. His unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to all that he does sets him apart - we have no doubt that he will thrive in his role with the Reserves.
It was a pleasure to receive a note from Chris’ Commanding Officer, who outlined “the UK's Reserve Forces play an important role in delivering our country's security alongside their regular colleagues. Reservists gain valuable experience and are trained to develop skills such as leadership, working under pressure and communications. As Christopher is now aligned to be mobilised for an operational deployment, I am extremely grateful to YesTax for allowing Christopher to mobilise. He is an exceptionally knowledgeable and capable individual who I am certain will deliver to a high standard when deployed”.
We are incredibly proud of Chris and the work he will be doing during his deployment. We wish him every success in this important phase of his working life. We’re already excited for his return! Stay safe and good luck!
