Making a difference – one day at a time!
Set up by three mums in 1992, Happy Days Children's Charity based in Hitchin organises and funds special days such as trips to the seaside, theatres, zoos, museums, outdoor activity centres, sporting events and other educational and cultural activities for children right across the UK living with mental, physical and emotional difficulties.

Last year, the charity was able to support over 30,000 children with additional needs, removing barriers to give the kids a chance to get out, make new friends, develop new skills and build confidence in the face of adversity.
As well as helping individual families, the charity also offers support to hundreds of groups such as SEND schools and arranges special days for other charities including children’s hospitals, women’s refuges and victim support services, to name just a few.
The donations of time and money in the community make this possible and the charity is grateful for any support it receives.
At YesTax we donate 2.5% of everything we do to vulnerable children both here in the UK and overseas. Finding like-minded charities with a similar mission to our own means we're able to help make a difference.
Happy Days believes that ALL children deserve the opportunity to experience life, whatever their circumstances. They aim to remove barriers and work with children to help them develop skills and confidence with holidays and activity days. This aligns perfectly to the YesTax mission to improve the welfare of our future generations – by providing help and support to today’s vulnerable children.
For this reason, it was without hesitation that YesTax recently donated towards two respite holidays for two families supported by the charity. Both are single parent families where the children have learning difficulties or other health issues which puts a strain on the parent and their siblings.
One break is for Center Parcs and one break is for Alton Towers and will help towards providing a bit of fun and respite for these two families.
We hope that this contribution helps the families through a difficult time, and we hope to hear how they get on.
None of this could be done without the amazing staff here at YesTax who work tirelessly to deliver results for our clients. This in turn improves the engagement and support we have from our referral partners and clients alike, and we are continually grateful for their continued business. Without this, we would not be able to make these meaningful impacts to the vulnerable children we look to help and support.
