YesTax working with Affinity and Yorkshire's Hidden Gems to help care experienced young people
In 2021 we worked with Affinity2020 Care Leavers Charity to provide 'YesPacks' for their young people to keep them creative and engaged during lockdowns. Now we are all able to enjoy the great outdoors again, we have funded Yorkshire's Hidden Gems Memberships so these young people and their families are able to access the wonderful places around them whilst enjoying the offers made available through the membership.
Affinity believes every care experienced young person deserves equality of opportunity, and are committed to providing £1000 worth of world-class cultural and leadership opportunities for every care experienced young person in Rotherham by 2030.
Yorkshire’s Hidden Gems was developed during the pandemic lockdown with a collective approach to supporting and helping Yorkshire's businesses, attractions and communities - promoting all the positive places Yorkshire has to offer, whilst saving people a few pennies in the process.
Affinity 2020 say, "A massive thank you to YesTax as Yorkshire's Hidden Gems Membership Card offers the opportunity for young people to make connections with wider people in society, and to understand and engage with what is around them."
