YesTax visit Sheffield Childrens Hospital
Last week our Mark Wood, Melanie Cheshire and Ali Ralston were invited to walk around the Sheffield Childrens Hospital to learn more about the fantastic work that they do. As Children’s Champions, YesTax commits to making monthly donations in support of their facility, and it was a great privilege to be shown around by Caitlin Hallatt (Philanthropy Manager) and John Armstrong (CEO).
The YesTax team were amazed to see the state-of-the-art facility, its specialist equipment and the unrivalled level of care that patients are able to receive. What really struck the team is the uplifting environment the facility has created in looking after its children – it really is the best it can be!
The team were taken around the whole facility; one of the highlights was the world-class 3T PET-MR scanner which has revolutionised the Radiology department and has made life so much easier for the experts who use it. The addition of their impressive new helipad which rapidly reduces transit times for patients needing quick access to emergency care was also fantastic to see.
For YesTax, the visit was invaluable not only in providing an insight to the amazing work taking place at the hospital but also how meaningful their monthly contributions are in providing help and support to achieve such worthwhile impacts.
It is an honour to have some input to the cause and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing team for all that they have achieved and continue to achieve in the pioneering work that they do.
